Interesting New OK Dinghy regattas in 2018 !

The upcoming OK Dinghy sailing season looks pretty promising for 2018 and the variety of regattas reflects the revival of the class in Belgium.

For a start, the Tour des Lacs or Inland Challenge has 9 regattas on its agenda. All of them on superb sailing locations and of course interesting post-sailing activities ;-). More information can be found here.

And the OK Dinghy will be back in Nieuwpoort after 20 years absence when the Europeans were organised in 1998. Together with the Finn class the OK Dinghy class will join the first weekend of June 30 – July 1 of the Nieuwpoortweek. The NOR is already available and registration through this link is possible. Sea, sun, wind and a fantastic organisation in the largest yacht harbour of Europe are a guarantee for success.

Finally a Benelux championship is organised during the weekend of August 11-12 in collaboration with the Antwerp based RYCB together with local sailing clubs on the superb sailing waters of the Grevelingen in Zeeland, the Netherlands. The Benelux championship is a yearly success event attended by many classes such Snipe, Europe, Finn, Contender, Vaurion, Solo, etc. …. This year the OK Dinghies will join this sailing party !
